We are a Club for those interested in Wargaming, based in Winchester, Hampshire, UK and as such we share information for the benefits of our members and those interested in Wargaming. We are not a commercial enterprise and we do not collect or store financial information.

Registration

When you register to become an authorised user of the site, you will be asked for information to identify yourself and to allow communication with you. This information is stored for the purpose of identifying you and allowing you to use the site. By entering the information to register, you agree to this usage.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

The Contact form provides a means for those who are not members of the Club with a login to the site to send a request to the Club. When completing the Contact form, it is necessary to supply and email address so that you can be contacted with any reply. By completing a Contact form, you agree to sharing your email address with Club members so that they can respond to you.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
